Sure. It’s a jacket after all, right. Cheers.
oddmodout asked: What's the best paint to use for a leather jacket? I just inherited a friend's jacket (he's still with us, the jacket just hasn't fit him in years), and an ex of his had once painted the back in artist's oils, but it's almost all flaked away, now. What's the best stuff to use?
Look, I don’t wanna be rude, but I’m getting tired of answering the same questions over and over again. If some - anyone - has any idea of how to make a tips page or something, please let me know, ´cause it would be better for everyone i guess.
Then, again, there’s leather paint, which is, basically, an acrylic paint. But any acrylic paint will do. Lots of really thin coats are way better than one thick coat. It will eventually start to flake anyway, though it may last much longer. Not sure how much longer. I heard keeping the leather moisturized (is that the right term?) also helps prevent the flaking.
cadaverouschild asked: How do I submit a photo of my jacket?
Use the submit button, select “photo” or “image”, find the picture you want to send and voilà.

chadkickass asked: This is about the ask on how to properly make stencils for patches. Just buy em and support the fuckin band, how else are they gonna make money?
… ‘cause every band has patches and there aren’t any patches made by third parties that don’t pay the rights for using the band’s logo/image/whatevs. Also, you could buy their music, go to their concerts, buy t-shirts, etcetera.
But point taken anyways. If possible, always support the bands you like, guys.
Anonymous asked: I think it's super cool that you acknowledge that the jacket in the 2NE1 clip is awesome instead of being like "wow ew no posers stop" or something like that. On an unrelated matter, do you know a good place, preferably online, to get activism-related patches??
Thank you, it’s great to know other people share the feeling ;]
About the patches, I’m afraid I can’t help. I only bought a few patches in a local store a long time ago and started making my own since then.
Any ideas, people?
tom-bakery asked: at the anon who wanted help with stencils: most stencils are made with acetate, which is plastic instead of paper, i think. the thicker the acetate, the sturdier your stencil will be, but it can get harder to paint. oh, and paint by dabbing the brush on your fabric, or the paint can get under your stencil!
tank-grrl asked: In response to anon about stencils - I use photo paper as it's thin enough to stencil well, but sturdy enough to work with and I cut out stencils with a stanley/carpet knife. Works perfectly!
