whiskeypoweredmayhem: The back of my newer one, still a work in progress. I found it looking brand new in a thrift store dumpster a few years ago…..
whiskeypoweredmayhem: And the front of it. This thing was pretty much my home when I was on the streets and squatting in Atlanta in the 90’s
whiskeypoweredmayhem: Here’s the back of my old jacket, I’ve had this one since ‘96.

Oi oi. Up for sale is one brand new Sweet Love brand XXL Women’s DIY Studded Pleather Punk Vest. It’s all dolled up and ready to be rocked by you or one of your friends (or maybe you can get it for an enemy, that would REALLY confused them).
So, here are the basic stats:
20 inches long from left to right on the bottom
19 inches long from top to bottom
10 inches long from armpit to bottom
Now, onto the goods: This vest is brand new with tag still attached. All zippers working. The only cosmetic flaw is that the orange from the front side is oil based paint which was unknown to me so it stained the tag and inside orange a little (as you can see from the pictures) but it has no affect on the outside painting. Also, certain designs I had to draw a few times to get right so there is some layers of black paint as cover up but it gives it more character. The pink and green are a little sticky to touch but everything is dried so no paint will stain you or your favorite shirt.
Okay, so, what is painted on this beauty:
On the right, there is an anarchy flower on the red. Next to it, is the yellow panel with a white dove saying “Peace” on top and “Equality” on bottom. It is written below that, “Big A, little A, Bouncing B, The system might have got you but it won’t get me! - Crass.” Below that, it says, “People are not expendable Government is.” with the Aus Rotten Logo below. Next to that (we’re heading left here, folks) if unzipped there’s a purple section with the Subhumans logo and above that the lovely orange. Moving across to the other side, there is the Dead Kennedys logo with the words “California Uber Alles” below it. Below that, it says “Destroy Power Not People.” Next to that it says “Teach Peace.” Above “Teach Peace” is the blue flap and below Rudimentary Peni written with the fetus. Below Rudimentary Peni, it says “Fight Wars. Not War.” Now, onto the pink (last side on the left) with the text “Change yourself, change the world.” Below that it says, “Never give up.” Below that it says, “What Good Is Money when There’s Nothing Left to Buy.” Then, there’s the logo for the band Crucifix with their name next to it. Below that, it says “No Future.” On the straps on the bottom on both sides, there’s some studs as well as on both shoulders.
The collar is a metallic green which says “X-Ray Spex.” Below that on the back it says, “I am a poseur and I don’t care,” quoting one of X-Ray Spex’s lyrics. Below that for the back piece is Cat Flag, a play on Black Flag. Underneath Black Cat it says, “No Dogs, No Masters.” To the cats’ left is the iconic silhouette of “The Clash” with “I fought the law and the law won” written below. Finally, on the left is the Misfits skull and the writing “I got something to say…” below it.
So, that sums up the vest. No patches, all hand painted. I hope the vest finds a good home. For those about to rock, I salute you.
